QA Engineer

paytech is a SaaS provider of white-label payment gateway software, enabling businesses worldwide to connect to multiple payment providers with ease and security. We are PCI DSS Level 1 compliant and continuously develop our products to enhance client experience.Our tech teams span R&D, Security / DevOps / Network, Customer Development, AI, and Customer Support, working together to deliver a robust, scalable payments platform.We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with a strong Java stack background to join our Customer Development team. You will ensure the quality and reliability of new features and product updates, working closely with developers and product teams to test and validate functionality before release.Key Responsibilities:Customer Development & Product TestingTest paytech’s internal products, features, and releases (Java-based) before production deploymentDesign and execute manual and automated test cases for core functionality, UI, and backend servicesValidate end-to-end user flows, edge cases, and regression scenariosCollaborate with R&D and Customer Development teams to ensure quality standards are metQuality Assurance ProcessesCreate and maintain test plans, scripts, and documentationContribute to QA standards, test automation, and best practices within the teamRequirements:Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processesHands-on experience with API testingSolid experience with Java-based applications and testing backend servicesProficiency in manual and automated testing (Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar)Good understanding of software release cycles and CI/CD pipelinesPreferred Qualifications:Familiarity with payment processing or fintech domainExperience with QA automation frameworks and scripting (Java)Russian and English language skills
