The key competencies include, among others, the below:Lead advisory (M&A) Transaction Diligence Valuations, Modelling & Economics Restructuring Strategy Banking transaction advisory services Real Estate transaction advisory services Key responsibilities of the role: Focus on M&A transactions with the following responsibilities:   Research and analysis of key value drivers at a market and business level.   Understand, analyse and present a client’s existing/proposed business, identify key strengths and weaknesses, document key findings. Analyse information and develop deep understanding of the strategic rationale for transactions across different sectors.    Prepare high quality client reports and transaction materials (e.g. Information Memoranda and Investment Teasers) for acquisitions, disposals and fund-raising.  Interact with different specialists in the firm, and colleagues across the globe, to deliver enhanced transaction solutions.    Build on and develop internal and external networks through personal contacts. Support new business development, including the production of proposals and attending meetings with clients and prospects.    Take responsibility for your own learning and development. Provide coaching/support to other team members. To qualify for the role you must have the following: Strong academic record; preferably relating to Accounting, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Physics or Mathematics. Strong numerical and financial skills and an understanding of financial statements.   Good analytical, organisational, problem solving and critical thinking skills. Effective written and verbal communication. Experience in business writing and the production of transaction materials.    Ability to work under strict deadlines. Qualified or in an advanced process of becoming qualified ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent professional qualification (e.g. MBA) will be considered an advantage. Experience in building financial models and valuing businesses (using various methodologies, mainly DCF, precedent transactions and traded comparable companies) will also be considered an advantage What We Offer YouAt EY, we’ll develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences.
