Backed by real-time data and automation, we simplify growth for beauty professionals.Role OverviewWe're looking for a QA Engineer who is detail-driven, analytical, and passionate about delivering high-quality products, with strong expertise in Manual testing, API and Database Testing, Test Automation, Browser automation, and Cross-Browser Testing to ensure the quality and performance of our web and mobile platforms. This is a high-ownership role where you will work closely with product, tech, and operations teams to build scalable and reliable products.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, document, and execute test cases, scenarios, and plans for web, mobile, and backend applications Automate test scripts using Playwright and/or Selenium WebDriver Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure product compatibility Perform database testing by writing SQL queries to validate data integrity and consistency Build, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks for functional, regression, and smoke testing Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines for faster and reliable deployments Collaborate with developers, product managers, and manual QA engineers to ensure clarity of requirements and test coverage Identify, log, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and retesting Maintain detailed test documentation, including automation coverage reports and execution logs Continuously improve test automation processes and optimize script performance Provide QA sign-offs during releases and deployments Contribute to building scalable QA processes, documentation, and best practices What We're Looking For3–5 years of experience in Automation Testing with strong expertise in Playwright, Javascript and/or Python, Selenium Experience testing web and mobile applications Understanding and familiarity with AI / LLM based tools for automated testing Proficient with bug tracking/project management tools (Jira, Linear, or similar) Familiarity with API automation tools (RestAssured, Postman, Bruno) Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies Experience integrating automated tests in CI/CD environments (e.g. Github CI) Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for quality assurance Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment Why Join ZocaStrategic QA role with a focus on automation, performance, and scalability Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless user experience Early-stage startup exposure with rapid learning and career growth opportunities Culture that values ownership, agility, and customer obsession Skills: javascript,automation testing,playwright,selenium
