🏗️ We’re Hiring! – QA/QC Engineer (Material)📍 Location: Colombo 01💼 Employment Type: Full-Time / Project-Based🕒 Industry: Construction | Engineering | EPCWe’re looking for a skilled QA/QC Engineer (Material) to join a reputed construction and engineering project.The ideal candidate will ensure material compliance, manage documentation, and support the project team in maintaining top tier quality performance.Key Responsibilities:🔹 Review and verify Material Test Certificates (MTCs), Certificates of Compliance (COCs), and supplier/manufacturer documentation.🔹 Conduct incoming material inspections and testing to ensure adherence to project specifications.🔹 Maintain detailed records of material approvals, quality documents, and traceability from procurement to installation.🔹 Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and construction teams for the timely delivery and proper usage of approved materials.🔹 Liaise with third-party laboratories for specialized testing (mechanical, chemical composition, etc.).🔹 Assist in preparing and implementing the Material Inspection Plan (MIP) and related quality documents.🔹 Participate in internal and external audits related to materials, ensuring compliance with international standards (ASTM, ASME, ISO, API, ACI).🔹 Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for material deviations and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.🔹 Prepare and maintain quality dossiers and turnover documentation for project completion.Key Requirements:✅ Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering (or a related field).✅ Minimum 5 years of experience in a QA/QC role focused on materials within construction or EPC projects.✅ Proven experience in material traceability systems and quality documentation.✅ Strong knowledge of international material standards (ASTM, ASME, ISO, API, ACI).✅ Familiarity with the construction project lifecycle and material management processes.✅ Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.✅ Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.✅ Knowledge of welding materials and procedures will be a significant advantage.📩 Interested candidates are invited to send their CVs to nahomi@envoyortus.com with the subject line “QA/QC Engineer (Material)”.
