Role SummaryThe Technical QC Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all micro drama video episodes meet the platform's technical, creative, and editorial standards. This position will be involved in end-to-end Quality Check processes for video, audio, subtitles, and metadata, working closely with creative, operations, and engineering teams to deliver the highest quality viewing experience to audiences.Key Responsibilities Review video and audio files for technical compliance (format, resolution, audio levels, sync, codecs, compression artifacts, streaming compatibility). Check subtitle/caption accuracy, timing, and language consistency across multiple languages. Flag, document, and log technical and creative errors; ensure all feedback loops are completed prior to publishing. Validate metadata (titles, description, tags), poster art, and episode cuts for accuracy, copyright, and platform display needs. Create and maintain detailed QC checklists, test cases, and reporting documentation. Collaborate with content operations, engineering, and creative teams for issue resolution and process improvement. Support content ingest and publishing workflows; troubleshoot distribution errors. Participate in regular process reviews, quality benchmark updates, and training of new team members or partners on QC best practices.Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communication, Film, Computer Science, or related. 2–4 years’ QC or post-production experience in OTT, TV, film, or digital video (micro drama/short form experience is a plus). Working knowledge of industry QC standards, video/audio file formats, subtitling/captioning, and content management systems. Strong attention to technical details and visual/auditory storytelling. Experience with manual and automated QC tools, dashboard reporting, and relevant software (scene/asset review, frame-accurate playback, subtitle tools, Excel, Google Sheets). Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills; able to provide clear actionable feedback.
