QC Manager (Denim) - Expat Welcome

Responsibilities:Responsible for supervising QC/ technical staff and maintaining quality control processes, analyzing the results, and giving feedback and guidance to the production & manufacturing teams under direct supervisionEvaluate denim-specific attributes, including fabric quality, wash techniques, stitching, fit, and finishing processes, to ensure consistency and adherence to design specificationsManage and decide all regulatory guidelines, i.e. raw materials, products, and/or processes are in accordance with specificationsEnsure designated factories follow the production processes and best practices to produce expected quality standardsExamine test results, stablished specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on quality solutionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiativesRequirements:Diploma or above in Fashion, Textiles or related disciplinesAt least 10-year relevant working experience in garment trading field; experience in USA market is preferableDenim experience is a must; Proven expertise in denim fabric characteristics, wash techniques, and garment constructionPossess knowledge in factory safety and apparel safety requirements for US and EUSound knowledge in technical patterns and constructionGood problem solving and communication skills to deal with customers and factoriesIndependent, well-organized and presentableGood computer knowledge (MS Office - Word, Excel)Good command of both written and spoken English
