QC Microbiology Technician

For our partner located in Visp, GI Life Sciences is looking for a:QC Microbiology TechnicianTemporary assignment Start: 01.12.25 End: 31.08.26Your Mission:Your main role will be to perform microbiological analyses with a focus on germ identification to ensure product quality and compliance with GMP standards.Your Responsibilities:Perform microbiology analyses, including: Germ identification (PCR and mass spectrometry)Endotoxin measurementsExecute analytical methods, interpret and report results.Document all activities in accordance with GMP rules and internal SOPs.Carry out and document method verifications for new projects.Maintain cleanliness and order in the laboratory.Your Profile:Completed training as a laboratory technician in biology, a Bachelor’s degree in biology, or equivalent qualification.Practical experience with at least one of the following methods: PCR, endotoxin measurements, protein synthesis, bioburden.Knowledge of GMP environments (a plus).Good language skills in German and English (professional level).Remote work is not possible.
