About Sachet FactorySachet Factory is a fast-growing start-up specialising in manufacturing premium stick pack products for some of the biggest health and wellness brands in the UK. We are moving into a brand-new, state of the art production facility in June 2025 to meet the growing demand for our products.As we expand our operations, we are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Quality Assurance Coordinator to contribute to the development and maintenance of robust quality systems.This position is well-suited for an individual with experience in administrative critical data entry, trend analysis and food manufacturing, who is eager to advance their career and gain comprehensive exposure to quality management within a dynamic start-up .About the RoleYou will be an integral part of our Quality & Operations team, performing daily checks and contributing to the development of our HACCP plans, risk assessments, supplier approvals, internal audits, and Standard Operating Procedures. This presents an excellent opportunity to join a company at its inception, where you can significantly contribute to its growth and evolution.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out final batch paperwork review for release of goodsSample and inspect bulk powder materials and inspect primary packaging upon reciept.Maintain accurate quality records, logs, and batch documentation.Chase suppliers of any TDS, CoA or CoC with any deliveries.Identify, record, and escalate any non-conformances or deviations.Ensure production staff adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)Assist with internal audits and support external inspections (e.g., BRCGS, ISO)Contribute to drafting and improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Support internal audits and prepare for external inspections (e.g., BRCGS, ISO)Work collaboratively with the Operations Director, Supervisors and Warehouse to uphold product quality.Critical data input within batch planing and preparing batch documentation.Problem solving with any potential issues in a packing line.What We’re Looking For:Experience in a quality control or assurance role within food, supplements, or related manufacturingFamiliarity with BRCGS requirements and standards (essential)Understanding of GMP and food safety practices.Understanding and promoting Food Safety Culture.High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keepingProactive attitude with the ability to prioritise and take initiative in a small teamStrong communication skills with confidence to challenge when necessaryComputer literacy (Word, Excel, email systems)What We OfferCompetitive pay DOE Salary range of 27,500 - 31,000 annually The opportunity to grow with a fast-paced, ambitious companyWork in a brand-new, purpose-built production facilityA supportive, team-first cultureCompany pensionFree parkingScheduleMonday to Friday 8:00 - 16:30Occasional overtime during peak production periodsWork Location: In person, Viking Way, CW12 1TTPlease be advised that this role necessitates an in-person presence, as a hybrid work arrangement is not currently an option.
