Job Description

If you work in Quality Assurance and have been looking for a Medical Device business where you can truly take ownership of how quality operates and grows, then this is the role for you.A London based consumer MedTech business are looking to hire their first QA Lead. With an award winning flagship class i product the company have grown quickly, selling in over 40 countries and experiencing triple digit growth year on year. They’re now firmly in the scale up stage with opportunities appearing everywhere as the business expands into new regions and product categories. It's the PERFECT time to join and be part of the growth.Experience needed:You must have hands on ISO13485 experience, actually running or maintaining a QMS.You’ll be working in a fast moving, high volume environment where products fly off shelves daily, so decisions need to happen quickly, with constant customer feedback loops. You need to be strong in PMS and complaint handling, being able to interpret the patterns, spot trends, understand root causes, understand consumer error vs product fault and turn that into CAPA action.Experience with CMOs is also essential. It's a busy place to be, three months in this company feels like the equivalent of a year in a much bigger organisation. But people work together here as a team, you're recognised and rewarded, it's a place to grow and establish yourself. This business are big on hiring people who want to take a step up and own something. This role is what you make it, lead QA, not people, but if you think the team should grow, they’ll listen. With such a fast moving company and with so much attention on new product development, they'd prefer people who are comfortable onsite, integrating with each department. It's not to say they can't be flexible, they can offer remote working, but it's not a set in stone hybrid role, at least not to begin with. They also offer flexible hours, 28 days holiday and a salary between £50k and £60k.Biggest challenge:If you’ve never worked in a high volume consumer environment, the sheer number of data points will be a shock. It’s not a slow class IIb implant manufacturer where you sell ten units a month. This is direct to consumer, fast feedback and fast actions. If you're ambitious and ready for a new challenge, then please do apply, I'd love to speak with you.
