Software Quality Assurance Tester

Role OverviewYou will be a hands-on contributor within a 5–9 person cross-functional delivery squad, ensuring the quality, reliability, and security of our software solutions. Working closely with Product Owners, Tech Leads, Developers, and fellow QA Engineers, you’ll help deliver features that matter. As the team kicks off new projects, we aim to release every month.Initial 3 months term with likely extension£400 per day Outside IR353 days a week on site near WatfordMultiple roles available.Start ASAPWhat You’ll Be DoingDesigning and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases using best practices.Performing functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.Collaborating in agile ceremonies – stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.Working closely with developers to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects.Supporting and improving automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.Ensuring robust coverage for both manual and automated tests.Contributing to documentation, including test strategies, user guides, and release notes.Actively seeking feedback and using it to improve personal and team performance.Maintaining a strong focus on quality, security, and scalability in all testing activities.Our Tech StackYou’ll be working with a modern, well-maintained stack. Experience with the following is highly desirable:Frontend Testing: React.js applicationsBackend Testing: .NET Core servicesTools & Frameworks:xUnit or similar for automated testingAzure DevOps for CI/CDSelenium, Cypress, or Playwright for UI automationPostman or similar for API testingPractices:Agile (Scrum/Kanban)TDD & Clean Code principlesContinuous Integration and DeploymentPerson requirementsThese are all non negotiable! please do not apply if you cannot meet these.This role is 3 days a week on site near Watford.You already have the right to work in the uk and can prove it.You have strong experience in QA and test automation with several years of hands-on work.
