Quality Assurance/Quality Control Engineer

In this position, you will directly report to the PROTA Leader. 🚀 Job Description:Our company is looking for a skilled and high potential engineer with a background in QA/QC systems and processes as well as high-precision CMM operations. If you are interested in developing PROTA’s expertise and resources on prototype manufacturing, and to provide better and more valuable services to its clients or stakeholders, this job opportunity may be suitable for you. Job Responsibilities:·       Identifying and implementing Quality Assurance system requirements for the Center and continuously improving the conformity level for all functions·       Effectively communicating and supporting personnel regarding their adequacy and the compliance of manufacturing operations with the QA requirements·       Seeking to the sustention of QA system certifications and following the updates/upgrades·       Building and maintaining Vendor/Customer Quality Management Systems and Relations ensuring the quality system requirements are met for the procurement and all internal processes·       Identifying and performing Quality Control operations for manufactured parts/assemblies in accordance with the manufacturing requirements and tolerances·       Carrying out the necessary measurements and controls on manufactured parts/assemblies for dimensions, hole positionings, contours, shapes, surface qualities, material properties, functionality etc., per instructed by related drawings and standards·       Programming, operating, and maintaining the Coordinate Measurement Machine fulfilling time and quality requirements, and following facility HSE guidelines and the machine manufacturers’ instructions·       Ensuring the CMM and all metrology equipment are maintained and calibrated properly·       Analyzing and reporting root causes for inaccurate measurements and taking corrective measures·       Keeping the records of all necessary QC reports and related documents properly in digital and printed copies·       Presenting the reports and files of measurements and quality control processes regularly, in digital graphics and statistical format, to the team leader and related personnel  Requirements:· Minimum Bachelor's degree in related Engineering programs or non-engineering programs with a solid background in design/manufacturing fields·       Minimum 2 years of experience in quality management and/or quality control operations (Master’s Degree in related fields will be accepted as equivalent)·       Preferably hands-on experience with CMM operations·       Minimum intermediate command of solid modeling CAD software (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, etc.)·       Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings·       Understanding of concepts such as measuring, tolerancing, quality standards and certifications, as well as knowledge of tools required in metrology.·       Proficient in MS Office Suite·       High command of English both verbal and written·       Team player with strong communication skills and high regard of responsibility·       Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
