Quality Assurance Specialist

This role is essential to ensure that all frozen co-pack operations comply fully with internal standards and Dubai Municipality regulations.Key Responsibilities:Operational Oversight:Supervise and control all defrosting and co-packing activities at the GSL warehouse.QFS System Implementation:Develop, implement, and maintain QFS processes tailored to frozen co-pack operations, including control measures, verification protocols, and documentation standards.Order Fulfillment Supervision:Oversee defrosting activities for orders from UAE stores, corporate departments, Middle East franchisees, and future GTR markets.Training & Capability Building:Deliver targeted training to teams involved in co-packing and defrosting to ensure consistent quality and safety standards.Process Auditing & Traceability:Conduct audits and validate each step of the co-packing process to ensure traceability and compliance.Regulatory Liaison:Coordinate with Dubai Municipality to secure necessary permits for thawing and other operational activities.Shelf-Life Validation:Lead shelf-life studies and product validations in collaboration with external laboratories, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.Allergen Management:Implement and monitor allergen control measures for Turkish and Belgian product ranges.Complaint Resolution:Investigate and resolve consumer and operational complaints in a timely manner.Inspection & Audit Management:Facilitate inspections and external audits, ensuring full readiness and compliance.End-to-End Compliance:Ensure QFS compliance across all aspects of co-pack operations, including import/export and local market distribution from the GSL warehouse.Authority & Independence:Operates independently to maintain objectivity and avoid conflicts of interest.Holds full authority to audit, inspect, and escalate any non-compliance issues related to co-pack operations.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Works closely with logistics, import/export, regulatory, and supply chain teams.Coordinates with external suppliers, packaging vendors, laboratories, and certification bodies.Stakeholder Engagement:Internal: Quality Assurance, Sales Operations, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, Logistics, and Corporate teams.External: Dubai Municipality, external laboratories, packaging suppliers, certification bodies, and franchise partners.
