Quality Assurance Specialist

Key Responsibilities1. Compliance & Warehouse Quality:Ensure all warehousing activities (receiving, storage, picking, shipping) comply with Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and company SOPs.Monitor and record temperature and humidity conditions in storage areas (especially for thermolabile products) and manage deviations.Oversee the quarantine and release processes for incoming and outgoing goods.Manage the reverse logistics process, including the handling of returned goods, ensuring they are assessed according to standard procedures.2. Supplier & Customer Qualification:Participate in the qualification of suppliers (manufacturers, wholesalers) and customers to ensure they meet required quality standards.Maintain approved supplier and customer lists.3. Documentation & Record Keeping:Review and approve distribution records, including shipping documents and waybills, to ensure accuracy and traceability.Manage and maintain Quality Technical Agreements with partners.Author, review, and update SOPs related to distribution, storage, and transportation.4. Fleet & Transportation Quality:Oversee the qualification and periodic monitoring of transportation vehicles to ensure they meet required specifications (e.g., temperature mapping, cleanliness).Review temperature monitoring data from shipments (if applicable) and investigate any excursions.5. Audits & CAPA:Conduct internal audits of the warehouse and distribution processes.Support external audits from clients and regulatory authorities (like the Egyptian Drug Authority - EDA).Investigate quality incidents, deviations, and customer complaints related to distribution. Manage the Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) process.Qualifications and ExperienceEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy is mandatory.Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role, preferably within a pharmaceutical distribution company, wholesaler, or a logistics provider for healthcare products. Experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturer's QA department with exposure to warehousing is also acceptable.Personal Skills:Meticulous attention to detail.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Arabic and English).High sense of responsibility and integrity.
