Job Summary:The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily quality control operations to ensure that products and processes meet company standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves supervising QA staff, implementing inspection procedures, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring consistent quality across all production stages.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate the activities of the QA team to maintain product quality standards.Develop, implement, and review quality assurance policies, procedures, and documentation.Conduct regular inspections, audits, and product testing to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.Investigate quality issues or customer complaints and lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).Train and mentor QA staff to maintain high standards of performance.Collaborate with Production, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to address quality-related concerns.Prepare and present quality reports, metrics, and analysis to management.Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, or other relevant industry standards and regulations.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, inspection techniques, and regulatory requirements.Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.Proficient in MS Office and QA tools (e.g., statistical software, reporting systems).Preferred Skills:Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.Familiarity with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
