Quality Business Partner (with JAKIM Halal Certification Focus)Location: ThailandAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Quality Business Partner to join our Regional Team. This role is pivotal in driving quality excellence across the end-to-end value chain, from product design and procurement to logistics and product freshness. The successful candidate will also lead and manage JAKIM Halal certification processes, ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards across all relevant markets.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Business PartneringImplement the Quality Excellence functional business plan and foster a culture of quality across ASEAN.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate corporate and regulatory standards into operational workflows.Provide expert guidance on quality-related matters and ensure timely resolution of non-conformances.Identify and address potential quality risks and blind spots.Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence through performance KPIs.JAKIM Halal Certification Management Lead and manage the JAKIM Halal certification process, ensuring compliance with all standards.Maintain product registration and raw material documentation in alignment with JAKIM and MUI requirements.Conduct internal audits and manage re-certification cycles.Coordinate with certification bodies and provide training on JAKIM-related topics.Other Responsibilities Support cross-functional teams on quality initiatives.Promote a culture of ownership and proactive problem-solving within the regional quality community.Contribute to capability building through the Manufacturing Academy and lead productivity and value creation initiatives.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Management, Engineering, or related field.Certification in Malaysia Halal Studies is required.Minimum 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance and JAKIM Halal certification within the food manufacturing industry.Strong knowledge of QMS, regulatory standards, HACCP, GMP, FSSC, food labelling, and sensory analysis.Certified Halal Executive (HPB), Halal Supervisor / HAS Implementation (IHATEC) preferred.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with experience in multicultural environments.Fluent in written and spoken English.Why Join Us?This is a unique opportunity to play a strategic role in shaping quality standards across ASEAN, while leading critical halal certification processes.
