With its new services, SYSTRA supports its clients and partners in their digital, ecological and energy transition, in order to invent the mobility of tomorrow.Context:-The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all construction activities on the BRT project meet the specified quality standards and project requirements. In a PMC (Project Management Consultancy) capacity, this role ensures adherence to contract documents, codes, and regulations, facilitating compliance and quality assurance throughout all project phases.Mission/Main duties :-Quality Assurance & ControlDevelop, implement, and monitor the Project Quality Plan, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, and quality procedures in accordance with contractual requirements.Ensure the works executed by contractors/subcontractors conform to approved drawings, specifications, and local/international standards.Conduct regular site inspections and audits of construction activities, materials, workmanship, and documentation.Identify and report non-conformances and supervise corrective and preventive actions.Documentation & ReportingReview and approve contractors’ quality-related submissions, including ITPs, method statements, and material approvals.Maintain QA/QC records, including daily site inspections, test reports, NCRs, and QA/QC logs.Prepare weekly and monthly quality reports for PMC and client review.Testing & CommissioningCoordinate third-party and laboratory testing.Witness and verify critical stages of work and commissioning activities as per the approved plan.Interface ManagementLiaise with contractors, client representatives, and project stakeholders regarding quality issues.Attend project meetings and facilitate discussions on QA/QC matters.Continuous ImprovementPromote a culture of quality across the project team and contractors.Conduct training and toolbox talks on quality matters as needed.Skills:-Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.Minimum 8 years of experience in quality assurance/control on transport infrastructure projects; prior PMC and/or BRT project experience is highly desirable.Sound knowledge of ISO 9001, relevant codes, standards, and local regulations.Certified or accredited quality manager Six Sigma Black BeltStrong attention to detail, analytical, and communication skills.Proficient in QA/QC software and Microsoft Office Suite.
