The ideal candidate is one who enjoys working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, thrives on challenges and is willing to learn to keep abreast of the latest in aviation technology. Job Summary: We’re looking for a Quality Inspector/Engineer (Aircraft Line Maintenance) to support our team. The Quality Inspector/Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the company's Quality Management System (QMS) within the aircraft line maintenance operations. This pivotal role requires a highly experienced professional with a minimum of 10 years in aircraft line maintenance, including at least 5 years in a dedicated quality management role. The successful candidate must possess an Aircraft Maintenance Licence and demonstrate a full and current understanding of aviation maintenance guidance. Key Responsibilities:·   Quality Management System (QMS) Leadership:o   Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with relevant aviation regulations (e.g., FAA, EASA, CAAS) and international standards (e.g., ISO 9001).o   Ensure all line maintenance operations, processes, and documentation comply with regulatory requirements and company procedures.o   Lead the QMS review process, including management reviews, to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.·   Auditing & Compliance:o   Plan, conduct, and manage internal and external audits (including regulatory audits by(CAA) of line maintenance activities, facilities, and records.o   Identify non-conformities, recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and ensure their effective implementation and closure.o   Act as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities during audits, inspections, and for all quality-related matters.o   Monitor changes in aviation regulations and guidance from relevant authorities, ensuring timely updates to company procedures and training.·  Safety & Risk Management:o   Work closely with the Safety Management System (SMS) team to integrate quality and safety objectives.o   Participate in incident/accident investigations, root cause analysis, and the development of safety recommendations.o   Promote a strong quality and safety culture throughout the line maintenance organization.·   Training & Standards:o   Ensure all maintenance personnel are adequately trained and competent in quality procedures and regulatory requirements.o   Develop and deliver quality awareness training programs.o   Maintain and control all quality-related documentation, manuals, and records.·    Continuous Improvement:o   Drive continuous improvement initiatives within line maintenance operations based on audit findings, performance data, and best industry practices.o   Analyse quality data to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for process optimization.o   Implement quality assurance programs to enhance overall operational reliability and efficiency. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related technical field is preferred.Licence: MUST possess a valid Aircraft Maintenance Licence (e.g., B1/B2 or equivalent).Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in aircraft line maintenance. And at least 5 years of proven experience in a dedicated quality management role within the aviation industry, preferably in line maintenance.Demonstrable experience in developing, implementing, and managing QMS.Extensive experience with internal and external auditing processes.In-depth knowledge of other international aviation regulations (e.g., FAA Part 145, EASA Part 145, JCAB) and industry standards (e.g., ICAO Annex 6, ISO 9001).Excellent analytical skills for data interpretation, root cause analysis, and trend identification.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to drive compliance and foster a culture of quality and a methodical approach to problem-solvingHigh level of integrity, objectivity, and professional ethics.Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is highly preferred for international business context.
