Quality Manager- Oman

Location: UAEIndustry: Manufacturing (GRE/GRP/Fiberglass)About The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead and oversee all QC activities within our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will ensure full compliance with internal procedures, international standards, and client specifications while driving continuous improvement across processes, products, and team capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure manufacturing processes, raw materials, and finished goods meet company and international quality standards. Lead and develop the QC team (Engineers, Supervisors, Inspectors, Technicians) to achieve operational excellence. Conduct product failure investigations, root cause analysis, and drive corrective and preventive actions. Approve QC procedures, ITPs, test plans, and project-specific documentation. Oversee product testing, calibration activities, and release of finished products. Manage non-conforming material processes and ensure timely communication and NCR closure. Participate in internal and external audits and ensure compliance with ISO, HSE, and client requirements. Maintain full traceability and ensure accurate QC documentation and reporting. Support plant product qualification tests and customer complaint investigations. Monitor QC departmental budgets and contribute to achieving Quality KPIs. Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Civil, or Manufacturing Engineering. Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience in manufacturing. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 Lead/Internal Auditor certification. Strong competency in QC, QMS, audits, and team leadership. Preferred SkillsAPI Q1 certification; knowledge of API 15HR / 15LR. Experience with GRE/GRP/fiberglass products. Strong analytical, problem-solving, inspection, and documentation skills. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Knowledge of laboratory testing, calibration, and product standards. Lean/Six Sigma training is an advantage.
