In this role you will work closely with other researchers as well as our engineers to bring BLoSH to the next step.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Quantitative Trader located in Amsterdam. The Quantitative Trader will be responsible for implementing, monitoring and optimising our trading algorithms and strategy. The role also involves recognising market opportunities and develop new trading models using quantitative techniques and collaborating with the development team and senior traders to translate trading models into production code.Skill set & QualificationsOutstanding data analysis and critical thinking skills, with an eye for detailStrong analytical, mathematical, and statistical modelling skillsA PhD or Master's degree in a technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Econometrics, Engineering)Outstanding coding skills in PythonExcellent communication skills, including reporting and documentationProblem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under high-pressure conditionsKnowledge of financial markets is not required; an interest in the subject isWe offer a challenging role in an informal, direct work environment and a salary above market average.
