Quantity Surveyor-Estimator – Bartawi General ContractingLocation: AlQouz industrial area 2- DubaiKey Responsibilities:Prepare accurate cost estimates for tenders, proposals, and ongoing projects.Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.Obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for pricing comparisons.Conduct site visits (when necessary) to better understand project requirements.Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and assist in pricing and cost breakdown.Evaluate and manage project risks and identify cost-saving opportunities.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement for accurate cost planning.Assist in post-tender clarifications, negotiations, and value engineering.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.5+ years of UAE experience as an Estimator in the construction or fit-out sector.Strong understanding of estimation tools, cost control systems, and construction methodologies.Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software (e.g., CCS Candy, Planswift).Attention to detail with excellent numerical and analytical skills.Strong communication and negotiation abilities.If you're interested, send your CV to careers@bartawi.ae
