Quantity Surveyor

Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for MEP Design, taking off BOQ, sourcing the quotation and prepare quotation.Lead the development and submission of high-quality M&E tenders, ensuring compliance with all client requirements and deadlines.Attend site visit for tender briefing.Interpretation of tender specifications, client requirement, drawings and any other relevant documents; not limited to Project Presentation, Schedule of Rates, Technical Data, Risk Assessment, Bill of Quantity and documents needed for Tender Submissions.Understand how to do MEP design to comply with Singapore Standard.Liaise with suppliers and contractors to get proposals/quotations and carry out evaluation.Able to assist client for Value Engineering.Conversant with Singapore building codes and regulations.Demonstrate effective communication and consultative skills.Strong in communication skills and a team player.Provide guidance and support to project teams in the implementation of successful M&E practices.Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures throughout the tender process.Job RequirementsPreferably hold a Diploma or Degree in Electrical EngineeringAt least 1 years of relevant working experience in Interior Fitting Out M&E WorksPreferably have knowledge on how to prepare M&E technical design, technical write-up, prepare tender specifications and presentation slide for tender interviewsMUST understand the process of tender preparation and submissionMUST have experience in project costing and estimatingMUST know BCA Green Mark RequirementStrong in Tender Presentation SkillHighly self-motivated, good working attitude with high level of professionalism & integrityWell-versed in MS offices tools i.e. Words, Excel and PowerPointStrong understanding of M&E methodologies and best practices.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Requires travelling to various worksites in SingaporeRequires to perform night work/weekends when need arises.This position is only open to Singapore citizens and Permanent Residents.
