Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Location: Hyderabad, IndiaDepartment: Estimation & Cost ControlIndustry: Doors & Modular ManufacturingRole SummaryThis is an individual contributor role focused on end-to-end cost ownership for manufacturing and installation projects. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for tracking all cost components—from raw material procurement and production to logistics and on-site installation. The role demands a sharp eye for detail, strong financial discipline, and contextual understanding of manufacturing economics. The QS will also play a pivotal role in quoting new projects, leveraging historical cost data and real-time insights to ensure competitive and profitable pricing.Key ResponsibilitiesTrack and log all cost components across the project lifecycle:○ Raw materials○ Manufacturing and labor○ Hardware and finish materials○ Packaging, logistics, and installationMaintain real-time cost visibility and ensure alignment with project budgetsMonitor P&L for each project and flag deviations proactivelyPrepare and update cost sheets, BOQs, and estimation templatesCollaborate with design, production, and procurement teams to validate costing inputsSupport the quotation process for new projects by providing accurate cost baselinesMaintain historical cost data and use it to inform pricing strategiesEnsure all expenses are documented, categorized, and reconciled against project scopeAssist in margin analysis and cost optimization initiativesSkills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field4–6 years of experience in cost tracking or QS roles, preferably in manufacturingStrong understanding of material costing, labor economics, and installation workflowsProficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and estimation toolsAbility to work independently and manage multiple cost streams simultaneouslyExcellent documentation, communication, and analytical skillsWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation based on experienceExposure to full-cycle manufacturing and installation costingOpportunity to influence pricing strategy and project profitabilityCollaborative work environment with high operational visibilityGrowth path into commercial or strategic roles based on performanceSkills: quantity surveyor,material costing,labor costing,boq engineer,estimation engineer,costing engineer,project costing,boq preparation,cost estimation engineer
