This is a great opportunity for individuals who are curious, hands-on, and eager to deepen their technical knowledge in a high-impact area of energy technology.As a member of our highly skilled R&D team, you will lead and support projects that are critical to the successful execution of our technology roadmap.Please submit your application in English.How You’ll Make An ImpactDrive innovation in the mechanical design of dry-type transformers to meet demanding technical requirements for emerging marketsDefine and execute Design of Experiments (DoE) to validate proposed design solutionsDesign and supervision of the manufacturing and testing of the prototypesLead R&D project execution, delivering on performance, timeline, and cost expectationsDocument project progress, obtain conclusions and derive the design rules of the validated solutionsSecure intellectual property rights for validated solutions through appropriate IP processesCollaborate with R&D colleagues across Hitachi Energy to support and optimize mechanical aspects of other R&D projectsProvide targeted technical support to factories, sales teams, and customersYour backgroundBSc or MSc in Mechanical engineering.
