We are committed to:ExcellenceResponsibilityEmpowermentConnectivityCourageAbout the Role:Dar Al-Handasah is seeking a versatile RF Design Engineer with proven expertise in TETRA, LTE, P25, and DMR technologies. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, optimizing, and validating RF systems that deliver reliable, high-quality coverage and performance for mission-critical communication networks across complex environments—such as airports, metros, tunnels, and smart cities.Experience in Public Safety Radio Systems design will be considered a strong advantage.Responsibilities:RF System DesignPerform RF planning and in-building coverage design for Public Safety and TETRA radio systems, ensuring seamless voice and data communication in mission-critical areas (e.g., airports, tunnels, stations, control centers).Conduct RF link budget calculations, frequency planning, and intermodulation analysis in compliance with reliability and regulatory standards.Design Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and leaky feeder networks supporting multi-technology integration (TETRA, VHF/UHF, LTE/5G).Define passive component configurations (splitters, couplers, antennas, combiners) and develop redundancy architectures to ensure fault tolerance and compliance with NFPA 72, IFC 510, and EN 50136 public safety communication codes.Validation & CoordinationPrepare detailed RF design documentation, coverage maps, and link budget reports using iBwave or equivalent tools.Collaborate closely with ICT, Security, ELV, and MEP teams to ensure seamless cross-disciplinary integration of communication systems.Support system validation, testing, and commissioning activities to verify compliance with performance specifications.Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.3–6 years of experience in RF planning and design; experience in Public Safety or TETRA systems is preferred.Proficiency in iBwave Design or equivalent RF design tools.Strong understanding of RF propagation, antenna theory, DAS architectures, and interference management.Familiarity with ETSI TETRA, 3GPP LTE/5G, and Mission-Critical Broadband (MCX) standards.Prior experience with operators, system integrators, or OEM vendors (e.g., Motorola, Airbus, Nokia, Ericsson, Huawei) is an advantage.Excellent analytical, documentation, and coordination skills.Preferred Certifications (a Plus)iBwave Level 1–3 CertificationMotorola / Airbus / Hytera TETRA System Design or Optimization TrainingETSI / TCCA Public Safety Communications CoursesLTE / 5G RF Planning Certifications (Nokia / Ericsson / Huawei)Kind Note:* While we carefully review all applications, only candidates meeting the specified requirements will be contacted for further consideration.
