The ideal candidate independently performs installation and commissioning work; coordinates its work with other stakeholders at the customer site. Executes installation and commissioning activities on customer locations for projects according to the agreements, within budget and in line with our business objectives on ethics, quality, health, safety, and environment.
ResponsibilitiesPerforms installation and commissioning works on yards, ships and other maritime installationsInstalls and commissions maritime navigation, communication and automation equipment based on designs and technical drawingsEnsures optimal work preparation to verify that all necessary information on work and scope is available before commencement of workEnsures that all required materials and tools are both present and ready for use, and manages the materials required in the execution of the project workEnsures that the work performed is within the agreed contract scope; ensures that all agreed conditions are met before the work starts.
Reports on deviations to the project managerEnsures that all works can be executed in a safe and responsible manner; stops all works if not the caseChecks and tests the operation of the delivered equipment based on the specified quality and functional requirements in the (technical) order and project data, drawings, inspection plans, scripts and test protocols.
Corrects abnormalities and malfunctionsHands over the commissioned equipment to the client, records the customers approval and possible commentsRecords as-built changes in the documentation package, hand-over documents and warranty certificatesReports on hours spent, progress, issues, deviations in work or scope, and safety concerns to the project manager and engineerGives user training on the delivered equipment. (when part of scope)QualificationsBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or relevant technical degreeCAD experienceElectrical ExperienceStrong organizational and communication skillsEnglish Fluency
