The detailer collaborates with engineers, fabricators, and contractors to ensure flawless detailing output.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare rebar shop drawings (plans, elevations, sections, details) according to project requirements. Generate bar lists, placement drawings, bending schedules, and accessories list. Interpret structural/architectural drawings and coordinate details accurately. Apply ACI, CRSI, BS, IS, and project-specific codes. Identify constructability issues and raise RFIs when needed. Coordinate with project managers, fabricators, and QC teams. Revise drawings based on feedback or design changes. Ensure outputs meet client standards, sheet formats, and internal quality checks. Required Skills & QualificationsDiploma / B.E. in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering. 1–8 years experience in rebar detailing. Proficiency in detailing software (AutoCAD is mandatory; knowledge of aSa, CADS RC, RebarCAD, Tekla, etc. is a plus). Strong understanding of structural drawings and rebar placing requirements. Excellent attention to detail with zero-error approach. Preferred QualitiesStrong teamwork and communication. Ability to handle multiple projects. Willingness to learn new standards and tools.
