Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced R2R Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of financial tasks, including inventories, accruals, deferrals, provisions and financial reconciliations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Financial Closing and ReportingOversee and ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements (balance sheet, P&L) in compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, and tax regulations.Ensure proper recording of accruals, deferrals, and provisions, explaining the differences between increases, reversals, and usage.Balance Sheet and P&L ReconciliationPerform detailed reconciliations between the balance sheet and P&L to validate the accuracy of reported figures.Address discrepancies and implement corrective actions where needed.Inventory ManagementManage and control end-to-end accounting for inventory, including valuation, impairments, and reconciliation of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).Analyze sales versus COGS trends and provide insights to optimize inventory reporting.Accruals, Deferrals, and ProvisionsMonitor and account for accruals, deferrals, and provisions, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.Develop processes to track the life cycle of provisions, providing clear explanations for adjustments and usages.Ledger ManagementHandle and maintain multiple ledgers (IFRS, local GAAP, and tax), ensuring alignment across frameworks.Prepare ledger-specific financial reports and manage ledger-specific adjustments.Desired Qualifications and Preferred Skillset:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar finance role.Prior experience in accounting within the production industry is considered an advantage.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent command of English languageProficiency in SAP and MS Office Suite.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.Strong communication skills and attention to detail.Social Benefits:(from your first full month of employment)Additional Health Insurance: Premium coverageFood vouchersWork-from-Home Allowance: to help cover home office expensesCo-sponsored Multisport Card: available against a monthly employee fee at a discounted rate(after the training period)Pay-for-Performance Bonus(after probation period)Transportation Allowance: to support your daily commute Employee referral bonusesLearning and Development:In-House Learning Platform: Access a wide range of training resources and courses to support your personal and professional development.Work with a Global Client: Join a team that has been successfully collaborating with a well-established international client for over 10 years.
