Trainee Recruiter/GraduateAxion Recruitment is a specialist search firm operating exclusively within the Manufacturing and Engineering sectors. We recruit Skilled Trades, Engineering, Technical, Managerial, and Director-level talent, with a strong focus on the Food & Beverage, Machinery & Automation and Plastics & Packaging industries.We are expanding and looking for ambitious, driven, and coachable graduates who want to build a long-term career in a high-demand, technical recruitment market. This is not a standard 9–5 role. Our expectations are high, and you will receive full training, support, and development. (Mon-Fri) The base salary ranges from $48,000 – $58,000 with commission up to 25% paid monthly (OTE $90k – $140k). If you have the drive to build your own niche, grow and manage a desk, mentor others, or move into a dedicated sales position, we offer defined pathways to support your progression.Duties & ResponsibilitiesProspect, cold-call, and develop relationships with a wide range of manufacturing clients.Run outbound sales campaigns using calls, email, and LinkedIn.Attend client meetings via phone, Teams/Zoom, and in-person.Negotiate terms and conditions and secure new business.Build and manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring long-term satisfaction.Proactively source vacancies and manage job requirements for your clients.Oversee the full interview process from submission to offer.Handle offer negotiation and candidate closing.Develop tailored recruitment strategies for each client.Build and maintain a strong network of candidates in your niche market.Review resumes, qualify candidates, and conduct in-depth interviews.Prepare candidates for interviews and job start dates.Source candidates using job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, and advanced search tools.Conduct post-placement follow-ups with successfully placed candidates.Maintain accurate data, follow company processes, and manage your CRM effectively.Experience RequiredRecent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a career in recruitment.A strong desire to secure a sales-focused role. Ideally you will have some exposure to sales prior to applying.High integrity, reliability, and a strong work ethic, you will be challenged, supported, and developed.Solution-oriented mindset with a positive, resilient approach.Ambitious, competitive, coachable, and driven to progress your career and earnings.Preferred degrees: Business, Marketing, EntrepreneurshipGPA of 3.0 of higher (Preferred)
