The ideal candidate has a proven track record sourcing and hiring engineering, technical, program management, and business operations roles in fast-paced, high-growth environments.The recruiter will partner closely with Orbitworks hiring managers, engineering leads, program teams, and People Operations to build pipelines, execute sourcing strategies, and support end-to-end hiring for technical and operational roles.About the Role:Source, identify, and engage high-caliber candidates for satellite engineering, systems engineering, mechanical, manufacturing, testing, program management, and business operations rolesBuild and manage strong talent pipelines for both active and future hiring needsExecute targeted sourcing strategies across LinkedIn, engineering communities, networks, and specialist channelsScreen candidates for technical depth, functional capability, and cultural fitWork closely with engineering and business leaders to understand role requirements, team structures, and mission prioritiesProvide real-time market feedback, candidate insights, and sourcing intelligenceSupport job description creation, role scoping, and candidate competency frameworksConduct initial screens and ensure a smooth candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycleCoordinate candidate movement efficiently across stages to ensure timely feedbackMaintain ATS data accuracy and recruitment hygieneTrack sourcing metrics, pipeline stats, and time-to-hire performanceHelp build sustainable hiring processes, sourcing playbooks, and market mapsMust Haves:Mandatory: Experience recruiting in space, aerospace, defense, satellite manufacturing, launch, or advanced hardware engineering environmentsDemonstrated experience sourcing for roles such as: Mechanical, Electrical, Avionics, RF, Software, Payload engineersManufacturing, AIT (Assembly, Integration & Testing) engineers/techniciansMission Operations & Ground Systems rolesProgram ManagersBusiness Operations (PMO, finance ops, supply chain, procurement)3–7 years of recruiting or sourcing experience (in-house or agency)Strong direct sourcing capability with proven results in hard-to-fill technical rolesExperience in high-growth startups or engineering-heavy organizations preferredExcellent communication, organization, and stakeholder managementAbility to work autonomously in a remote environment while delivering high outputNice to Haves:High attention to detail, proactive mindset, and strong sense of ownershipComfortable traveling to Abu Dhabi for periodic onsite collaborationFamiliarity with ATS platforms and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, SeekOut, Github)Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities at onceExperience recruiting in Multiple GeographiesOrbitworks' mission is to make space simple for organizations that want to deploy physical and virtual missions to space. Building on Loft Orbital's heritage, Orbitworks will be the first commercial firm in the United Arab Emirates to mass-manufacture satellites.
