Job Description

Our client is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Country Manager to oversee all business operations, drive strategic growth, and represent the company within the assigned country. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the local team, ensuring operational excellence, and achieving revenue and profitability targets. Responsibilities: Develop and implement business strategies to achieve market growth and profitability goals. Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with company policies and local regulations. Lead and motivate the local team, including recruitment, training, performance management, and development.

Act as the primary liaison between the company’s headquarters and local operations. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities. Establish and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies. Ensure compliance with all legal, tax, and regulatory requirements in the country. Represent the company at relevant industry events, conferences, and media engagements. Prepare and present regular performance reports to executive leadership. Key Skills: Strong leadership and people management abilities. Excellent strategic thinking and decision-making skills.

Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and P&L management. Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Solid understanding of the local market and regulatory landscape. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (MBA preferred). Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in a senior leadership role, preferably with multinational exposure. Proven track record in business development, operations management, and team leadership. Experience in the [insert industry, e. g. , FMCG, tech, logistics, etc. ] sector is advantageous. Fluency in English and local language (if applicable)
