As a Business Analyst (BA), you will play a key role in connecting business stakeholders with the IT organization, ensuring that technical solutions meet business needs and drive meaningful outcomes. You will bring a deep understanding of the business areas you support, along with a strong grasp of modern technology trends, including artificial intelligence (AI). In this role, you will take full ownership of the requirements engineering process, working independently to guide projects from discovery through delivery. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include leading inclusive interviews, workshops, and discussions with stakeholders to uncover their unique needs, challenges, and goals.
You will create detailed documentation, such as user personas, process flows, and journey maps, to ensure a complete understanding of the current state. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize requirements for successful project outcomes. Conduct discovery sessions, interviews, and workshops with stakeholders to gather insights into processes, challenges, and opportunities. Analyze gaps and inefficiencies; recommend solutions using custom-built applications or third-party services. Translate high-level business needs into actionable deliverables by creating detailed documentation, such as user personas, process flows, journey maps, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Ensure documentation is organized and maintained in JIRA. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment on requirements and solutions, and clearly communicate findings, gaps, and proposed solutions to both technical and business stakeholders.
Lead solution assessment, validation efforts, and testing phases (including UAT) to ensure gaps are addressed and requirements are met. Use tools like Figma to create prototypes and wireframes, aligning solutions with user needs. Stay informed of trends in AI and Marketing to drive innovation and address business challenges. Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role: 2+ years of relevant experience. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Expert understanding and previous experience with standard project management methodologies and delivery approaches (waterfall and agile), including the frameworks outlined by PMI and Scrum AllianceExtensive working experience with relevant business process engineering and scoping tools (Figma, Figjam, JIRA, Confluence, Excel, LLMs, etc.
) and how to apply them practically based on the project needsAn understanding-level knowledge of technical architecture, application systems design and integrationExperience participating in technology market scans and vendor RFP exercisesExperience and ability working in projects of varying sizes, complexities, and team structuresExperience and exposure to a range of technical environments and projects, including: IT Infrastructure, the software development lifecycle, cloud-based solutions (AWS preferred), database engineering, data analytics, and insights reportingExperience working with highly governed testing for technology solutions; experience withThis position is open to U. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
