Job Location:This position can be based in various locations within MCAM(Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Material) Asia.If located in MCAM China, the position will be based in Shanghai.If located in MCAM Korea, the position will be based in Cheonan or AnsanEntities based at Singapore or at MCAM Thailand Job Purpose :The Regional Commercial Excellence Lead (ES&S) is responsible for designing and driving commercial excellence processes and improvement roadmaps across the region. This role enables the entire organization—particularly commercial teams—to optimize efficiency and effectiveness by adopting industry standards and best practices.The primary objective of this position is to enhance commercial capabilities and establish excellence through the design, implementation, and deployment of commercial processes, initiatives, and metrics. These efforts aim to maximize both top- and bottom-line performance, driving sustainable organic growth faster than the market.This pivotal role collaborates closely with regional and cross-functional teams—including Sales, Supply Chain, Digital, Finance, and Business Lines—to deliver tangible, measurable improvements in market-driven processes and ensure a comprehensive and profitable market-to-order impact.Job Responsibilities :StrategicSupport the Asian Leadership Team sponsor in shaping strategic programs central to MCAM’s overall strategy, including Pricing Excellence, Sales Performance Management, Go-to-Market & Channel Excellence, Commercial Strategy, S&OP, and Demand Planning.Lead initiatives that improve commercial excellence by ensuring standardization, transparency, and strong financial acumen across commercial operations.Design modern, efficient, and customer-centric processes focused on profitability and competitiveness.Drive continuous improvement in sales capabilities, tools, and supporting systems.Serve as a trusted advisor to commercial leadership by providing coaching, expert insights, and strategic recommendations.Lead the regional commercial excellence process with analytical rigor to optimize sales, profitability, and customer segment penetration across products and channels.Contribute to developing a roadmap for future strategic commercial excellence (tools, systems, data) and lead related enhancements.Support the implementation of effective sales management practices to achieve business objectives.Lead efficiency and effectiveness projects in partnership with relevant functions, focusing on the customer impact of process improvements.OperationalLead the regional Commercial Excellence team and coordinate cross-functional task owners.Develop, implement, and maintain a solid and dynamic pricing structure (e.g., list prices, discounts, rebate management) aligned with the regional commercial strategy.Serve as the global project owner for the Dynamic Pricing Tool.Oversee the development of metrics and dashboards that monitor sales excellence performance, drive continuous improvement, and empower commercial teams to deliver results (e.g., Pricing Win Rooms, S&OP).Identify and drive the execution of commercial excellence initiatives with regional sales managers, acting as a “catalyst for change” and “change partner.”Participate in S&OP meetings and drive improvements in forecasting accuracy.Develop performance metrics for demand planning, forecast accuracy, and other KPIs to help steer the organization toward improved cash conversion cycles (CCC).Introduce and lead the regional implementation of pricing methodologies (e.g., value-based pricing, conjoint analysis, competitive pricing, cost-plus pricing) based on product and business models.Develop a deep understanding of MCAM’s products, processes, commercial strategy, customer segments, competitors, and market trends.Promote cross-functional alignment and constructive collaboration among sales, marketing, logistics/supply chain, finance, and administrative teams on commercial excellence initiatives.Establish and drive a proactive communication and education strategy for the regional sales force on benchmarking, best practices, new tools, training, and productivity improvements.Ensure process alignment across commercial, operations, finance, business lines, and digital functions.Education & Experience :Work-Related Experience, Skills, and TrainingExperience in influence-based roles within large, matrixed organizations, collaborating cross-functionally with multiple business units.Strong business acumen with the ability to collect and analyze market and competitor data to identify and evaluate new business opportunities.Proven track record of driving revenue and margin growth through strategic pricing initiatives.Solid understanding of pricing concepts, including price elasticity, pricing waterfalls, and margin pool analysis.Strong financial acumen with experience analyzing financial statements and profitability drivers.Deep commitment to customer success and a strong passion for achieving results and customer satisfaction.Education / QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, Finance, or another business-related field (required).Master’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.Professional Experience5–7 years of professional experience in Strategic Pricing, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Demand Planning, or Supply Chain Management (SCM).Core CompetenciesCommunicationInterpersonal SkillsProblem Solving & Analytical ThinkingDecision Making & JudgmentProject ManagementComputer LiteracyProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with ERP systems (M3 preferred)MCC Competencies / Company ValuesWe are your trusted partner.We work together to achieve the best possible solutions.We have the courage to break new ground.
