Momentum is hiring a Regional Director of Program Services to oversee the day-to-day operations of Momentum's service lines. As the Regional Director of Program Services, you will oversee and coordinate all aspects of placement for individuals being provided with new services. Ensure compliance with licensing interpretive guidelines and applicable state and federal laws and regulations. Responsible for ensuring program operations are cost effective, promoting positive outcomes, and overseeing the health and safety of all people supported participating in Momentum’s programs. Develops, implements, and/or amends program designs, as requiredNetworks with responsible agencies and other appropriate groups with a goal of maximizing occupancy in all service linesEnsures Finance Department is provided all relevant information to help keep budget, rate, census, vendor, and licensing information current, so all information represents the most accurate and sound picture of operations fiscal practicesWorks with Finance Team, including CFO and local administration, in budget development, fiscal monitoring, and timely completion of documents related to census, billing data, appropriate revenue opportunitiesCollaborates with the Development Department on strategies and projects, as needed, to forward the mission of the organizationsConsistently models commitment and accountability when interacting with family members and friends of persons supported to facilitate positive interactions and the well-being of the persons supportedContributes to the online family communication portal in collaboration with and facilitated by the Program CoordinatorRecruits, hires, trains, and supervises Therapists and Program Assistants, drawing on Human Resources, as requiredProvides and assists with weekly supervision and coaching to the program team, as neededProvides direct support to model standard of services and to maintain critical ratio due to unexpected employee absence, as neededAssists in managing disciplinary issues for staff, in collaboration with Human Resources, as neededOversees departmental payroll tasks, including employee maintenance documents, timely submission of timecards, and other required payroll-related documentsWorks with Payroll, Human Resources, and accounting staff, as required, to process employee status changes, including promotions, terminations, etc.Performs other duties as assigned to meet departments and/or business needs Regional Director of Program Services Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field, highly preferred Minimum of five (5) years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, requiredMinimum of five (5) years in a supervisory role, requiredSkills and Knowledge: Effectively manages employees and regularly provides constructive feedback, as well as celebrates successesAbility to multi-task and work on multiple projectsAbility to work collaboratively with multiple departments and organizationsCompetent in multiple technology platforms including, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. Possess a commitment to the belief that all people have the right to dignity, respect, opportunity, and full community inclusionTreats people with respect; keeps commitments; inspires the trust of others; works ethically and with integrity; and upholds organizational valuesRequirements: Ability to run, push, pull, bend, squat, kneel, and lift up to fifty (50) poundsSuccessfully pass all post-offer, pre-employment screening requirements, including criminal background check, drug screening, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United StatesMust have a valid California driver’s license, insurance, reliable transportation, and clean driving recordWith 40 programs and service sites spanning several counties, Momentum is the largest nonprofit provider of direct support for individuals with disabilities in Southern California.Momentum is an equal opportunity employer and is required to comply with equal opportunity legislation in each jurisdiction in which it operates.
