These sentiments capture why we choose Riskified every day. About the Role *This role is based in Tokyo, JapanRiskified is seeking a results-driven, accomplished, motivated, creative, and innovative Marketing Manager to own all marketing activities in the Japanese market.The ideal candidate is a Field Marketing & Events  B2B manager.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of planning and executing events of all types and sizes, both offline and online—from executive roundtables to large-scale conferences and merchant summits. These events should ultimately build the sales pipeline, create awareness of Riskified’s brand, products, and services, and generate demand for them.You will be responsible for managing all marketing efforts in Japan, executing ambitious strategic plans (as well as tactics) across both sites, helping them build a strong brand name and generate awareness, helping the BD and Sales teams generate and win deals, and helping convert relevant prospects into Riskified customers using all available channels.In this role, you will work closely with our Japan team ( Business Development and Sales teams)You will report to the Director of Regional Marketing for EMEA and APAC and be part of our growing global marketing demand generation team.What You'll Be DoingDevelop and execute the events strategy for the Japan market, designing unique experiences—both online and offline—to build awareness of Riskified’s brand, products, and services and generate demand.Research and qualify relevant conferences and third-party events in coordination with the business development and sales teamsDetermine and negotiate Riskified’s involvement in conferences, including sponsorships and speaking opportunitiesCollaborate closely with key stakeholders across the company—sales, product marketing, content, design, ABM, and communications teams—to identify and evaluate new event opportunities that position Riskified as a thought leader and attract the right leads to our pipelineTravel  to conferences to manage on-site productions and sponsorship setups when needed Manage the events calendar and produce event “quick sheets” to coordinate all aspects of each event, including agendas, timelines, venues, suppliers, giveaways, booths, staffing, and budgetsProvide support for on-site Riskified representatives, handling logistical tasks such as shipments, registrations, booth service orders, team preparation, travel, and booth setup and takedownProactively manage the budget, track and evaluate results against goals, and identify learnings for improvement.Conduct post-event wrap-ups and analysis, including onsite event execution as requiredBuild relationships with customers and industry players to collaborate on events as co-presenters, panelists, guest speakers, and moreAssist with additional projects, including customer holiday gifts, campaigns, events, and other initiatives.QualificationsJapanese - mother tongue, excellent communication skills - MUSTHigh level of written and spoken English - MUSTWork experience in eCommerce/FinTech/Payments /Online retail/Cyber –-MUST! 3+ years of experience working in B2B enterprise, Field marketing, and event management experience, including hosted events, trade shows, conferences, and virtual events/webinars, marketing campaigns - MUST!Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to successfully manage and execute multiple projects with varying priorities and stakeholdersProven track record of collaborating with B2B sales organizations to build and deliver resultsAbility to consistently set and meet tight deadlinesCreative thinker with the ability to think outside the boxExcellent relationship management skills with the ability to build, influence, and deepen relationships with stakeholders, especially with sales.Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and functional disciplinesKnowledge and understanding of marketing tools, processes, and execution of workflows in order to define, track, and report KPIs.Solid understanding of regional nuisances and local go-to-market practices.Metrics-driven with demonstrated analytical skills.Advantages:Strong marketing background in APAC markets (ANZ)-advantage!Experience in driving lead generation programs into larger Japanese enterprises-advantage!Strong knowledge and best practices in JP marketing channels.Knowledge in WordPress environment, SEO &SEM in Google. Relevant bachelor’s degree.Life at RiskifiedWe are a fast-growing and dynamic tech company with 750+ team members globally.
