Merchandise, regional role, women's wear, apparel, shoes, Your CompanyOur client is seeking a Regional Merchandising Manager to take a leading role in shaping the apparel strategy across the APAC region. Reporting to the General Merchandise Manager, this position will drive commercial growth by defining category direction, optimising assortments, and uncovering opportunities across diverse markets. The focus will be on key performance-driven apparel categories, with flexibility to shift emphasis based on evolving consumer needs and business priorities. Your RoleIn this role, you will guide the regional apparel agenda, working closely with cross-functional partners to deliver strong commercial results. You will transform market insights into strategic actions, refine assortments to fit local expectations, and ensure that seasonal initiatives support long-term brand goals. Your Role Includes:Leading the execution of the APAC apparel category strategy across assigned segments.Supporting business-wide initiatives, including projects that enhance merchandising tools, processes, or systems.Developing briefs and line plans to ensure global assortments are adapted effectively for regional markets.Reviewing seasonal performance to identify areas of opportunity and address gaps.Conducting ongoing market and competitor analysis to support strategic planning.Managing the regional assortment using insights gathered from markets and internal data sources.Assessing seasonal selections to ensure they align with merchandising objectives and financial targets.Working closely with GTM teams to stay informed on buying behaviours, consumer shifts, and competitive developments.Presenting seasonal product direction and GTM plans to markets during key milestones.Strengthening collaboration among retail operations, merchandising, and marketing teams to support commercial goals. What You'll Need to SucceedOutstanding interpersonal and stakeholder‑management skills, effective at influencing across all levels.Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with confidence communicating to leadership and broader teams.Solid background in apparel merchandising, ideally with exposure to performance‑oriented categories.Ability to clearly articulate strategies and product stories to diverse audiences.Strong analytical and planning capabilities.A highly collaborative working style, essential for driving success in a regional role.Proficiency in English.Minimum 5 years of merchandising experience, including at least 3 years in a regional function.A plus: Personal interest in active lifestyles or familiarity with performance apparel consumers.
