The company's innovative tools include adjustable angle tool holders, gear hobbers, and worm gear generators. With a technical support team boasting over 35 years of CNC experience, MD Tooling is dedicated to providing high-quality, tailored tooling and bar feeder solutions to meet clients' needs.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote Regional Sales Manager position. The Regional Sales Manager will oversee and expand sales within CA, OR, WA, AZ, UT, NV, ID, MT, WY, CO, & NM, build and maintain client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and develop strategies to meet sales goals. They will align with the engineering and management team to provide tailored tooling solutions to customers, attend trade shows, and deliver presentations to educate clients on products and services. This role requires regular communication with stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and sustained growth. 40%-50% travel is required.QualificationsSales and Business Development skills, including lead generation, account management, and knowledge of sales strategiesExperience in the manufacturing or CNC machining industry, with a strong understanding of tooling systems and solutionsStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish long-term customer relationshipsExcellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to prepare and deliver presentationsOrganizational and time management skills to handle multiple accounts and projects efficientlySelf-motivation, with the ability to work independently in a remote environmentProficiency in CRM software and other sales tools is a plusA bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience
