Job Title: Regional Sales Manager – Heavy Machinery (West Africa)Territories Covered: Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Cameroon, GuineaContract Type: Full-time / PermanentDepartment: Sales & Business DevelopmentMission :We are seeking a dynamic, result-oriented Regional Sales Manager to lead our commercial activities across key West African markets. The position requires both strategic leadership and strong operational execution to drive sales growth, strengthen customer relationships, and enhance the company’s presence in the heavy machinery and construction equipment industry.Key Responsibilities : Develop and implement a comprehensive regional sales strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives.Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities through strategic prospecting and client visits.Lead, motivate, and support country-level sales teams to achieve revenue, margin, and market share targets.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and key decision-makers in the construction and industrial sectors.Supervise daily sales activities, review performance KPIs, and ensure consistent pipeline growth and accurate forecasting.Ensure proper management of customer accounts, including invoicing follow-up and debt collection.Conduct market intelligence to monitor pricing trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.Maintain and update sales data within the CRM system, ensuring reporting accuracy and transparency.Prepare weekly and monthly sales performance reports for senior management.Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and trade fairs to promote the brand and expand visibility.Profile Requirements :Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 6–10 years of experience in sales or business development, ideally in construction machinery, industrial equipment, or heavy-duty vehicles.Proven leadership experience managing regional or multi-country sales operations.Excellent command of sales negotiation, client portfolio management, and contract development.Strong financial acumen and ability to handle large commercial transactions.Proficiency in CRM systems, Excel, and Power BI is a strong asset.Fluent in French and proficient in English (both oral and written).Must hold a valid driving license (Category B) and be available for frequent travel within West Africa.Core Competencies : Strategic sales leadership and business acumenStrong interpersonal and communication skillsData-driven decision-making and performance monitoringAbility to inspire and manage multicultural teamsCustomer-centric approach and service excellence mindsetWhy Join Us :Opportunity to work for a global leader in construction and heavy machinery, with strong market positioning in Africa.A stimulating work environment that encourages innovation, initiative, and professional growth.Competitive compensation package with fixed salary, commissions, and regional performance bonuses.Benefits include company vehicle, insurance, communication tools, and full support for business travel.
