The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) in Europe is to lead, develop, and execute sales strategies within their assigned region to achieve revenue growth, market penetration, and customer satisfaction goals. This role typically involves overseeing regional sales, managing key customer relationships, and ensuring alignment with the company's global strategy while adapting to local market conditions.Responsibilities Will Include... Sales Strategy & ExecutionDevelop and implement export sales strategies to meet and exceed regional & countries sales targetsIdentify and expand into new international markets and optimize existing sales channelsAlign regional strategies with global business goals Market DevelopmentConduct competitive analysis and market intelligence to help inform product positioning, new product launches and market entry strategiesAnalyse & act on market, sales, channels, category opportunities and trends Client & Partner ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with distributors, key accounts and healthcare professionalsNegotiate contracts, pricing structures, and service terms with international partners Export Compliance & LogisticsEnsure all export activities comply with international trade regulations, documentation, and product registration requirements in target countriesCoordinate with logistics and supply chain teams for efficient product delivery and inventory control Marketing & Brand DevelopmentHelp driving agreed marketing activation plans for each country through distributors in collaboration with Head of Export Marketing and with help & support of Marketing Activation ExecutiveAdvise on promotional campaigns tailored to regional market dynamicsDrive range expansion and help with product launches, and digital marketing initiativesCustomise product messaging and promotional materials in line with regional cultural trends and consumer behaviour Medical PromotionLead product presentations, help with training, and education sessions for healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders (KOLs)Support in the organising and running of training days, exhibitions and HCP conferences (focussing on gaining continuous medical education (CME) certification for such events) Forecasting & ReportingMonitor and report sales performance, market feedback, and promotional effectivenessProvide monthly reporting, forecasts and business updates to senior leadership Cross-functional CollaborationLiaise with Technical team and other support services for product registration, technical documentation, and complianceWork closely with Marketing and Nutrition and Training to align strategy and execution TravelRegular international travel for market development, customer engagement, and promotional activities.RequirementsEssentialBachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field (MBA preferred)Extensive experience in international sales and export management, preferably in the pharmaceutical, FMCG, health care, nutrition industryDemonstrated experience in both commercial sales, business development and marketing activationStrong sales and business development acumen with some understanding healthcare regulations, terminology and dealing with HCPs/KOLsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skillsAbility to implement compelling sales, marketing and medical promotional plans to drive business through distributorsFluent in English; additional languages relevant to the region are a plus (e.g., Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, German... etc)SkillsStrategic Sales PlanningTerritory & Account ManagementNegotiation & ClosingCustomer Relationship ManagementMarket IntelligenceExcellent CommunicationProblem-Solving & Decision-MakingResults-Driven MindsetBenefits24 Days annual leave plus bank holidays Bupa dental coverPrivate medical insurance. 50% staff discount on all Vitabiotics productsStaff skills trainingHealth and wellbeing programmePension contributionsSick pay supportFree onsite parkingEnhanced maternity or paternity leaveCompany eventsFresh fruit and snacks2 Charity days a yearFree EV charging station.
