JOB PURPOSEInspires, motivates, and encourages all stakeholders to understand the impact and importance of sports development.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSDegree in Sports Management or related field. Sports Coaching Qualifications.EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS5 years+ experience working in sports and/or school role Proven work experience, exemplified through the achievement of financial targets and successful projects Experience of working with multiple stakeholdersDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTo manage all sports operations in their designated venues.Promote all Maarif Sports Club Sports Initiatives and provide administrative support for all operations.Manage the successful implementation of all areas of the long-term sports development strategy as directed by the line manager.Supports the Director of Sport with the long-term athlete development planning and related tasks which aligns with the overall sports strategy.Promote positive communications and identify effective outcomes with solution-based feedback.Collaborate with internal teams to develop and monitor all marketing initiatives set out in the strategic plan.Be the first point of contact for all Maarif Sports Club sports business in the assigned school and maintain professional relationships with key contacts.Day to day management of a highly diverse team of sports professionals, coaching & PE staff and administrators.Ensure schools and other stakeholders have correct and up to date channels of communication (particularly out of office hours’ contacts).Ensure Maarif Sports Club Sports products or activities are represented at the school i.e. branding to maximum privilege and all services offered (where possible).Co-ordinate events, tournaments and open days with all sports co-ordinators to showcase all sports and develop competition across all Maarif Sports Club sports.Identify relevant training and CPD opportunities for all sports staff.Maximize the use of technology to support with the automation of all sports processes and operations e.g. booking systems, safety auditing etc.Embrace & encourage the ethos and standards of excellence as defined by Maarif Education & Maarif Sports Club.REQUIRED SKILLSExcellent verbal & written communication (English & Arabic). Understanding of Health & Safety Practices. Ability to work independently and as a team. Ability to organize, plan and prioritize effectively, managing responsibilities. Outstanding interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills. Experience of working with Office 365 (Microsoft word, excel etc.). Excellent time management. Relationship Management / Customer Service skills. Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
