Regional Supply Planning Assistant Manager (APAC)Location: IndonesiaAbout The RoleJoin Prysmian Group’s APAC Supply Chain team and play a pivotal role in maximising regional performance by balancing demand and supply across our manufacturing network. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about driving operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Operations Planning (S&OP):Lead preparation and coordination of APAC S&OP (forecast and last estimate) to senior regional management.Define and manage the calendar for local and regional S&OP meetings to meet HQ submission deadlines.Establish and maintain robust S&OP processes across APAC, collaborating closely with country teams.Conduct weekly follow-ups with local teams to keep plans on track and anticipate potential issues.Demand & Supply PlanningAllocate demand to the most suitable factories, considering capability, cost, and lead time.Partner with sales teams to adjust sourcing plans in response to market changes, especially in changing market conditions.Build strong relationships with other regional supply chains for cross-support when needed.Manage finished goods and raw material replenishment plans effectively.Saturation PlanningMonitor factory capacity utilisation and identify saturation risks across APAC plants.Develop proactive strategies to balance production loads and avoid bottlenecks.Collaborate with manufacturing and logistics teams to optimise throughput and maintain service levels.Provide data-driven recommendations to senior management for capacity expansion or redistribution.Cost BenchmarkingAnalyse and compare production and logistics costs across APAC factories to identify best practices and cost effective plant.Ensure demand allocation decisions consider cost competitiveness alongside capacity and lead time.Support strategic sourcing and operational decisions with cost-based insights to maximise profitability.Continuously monitor market trends and internal benchmarks to maintain cost efficiency.Regional Business StrategyPlay a key role in the Management Plan process.Support strategic decisions with accurate, actionable data and ensure timely execution of agreed plans.Intercompany CoordinationEnsure stable flows between Prysmian entities and compliance with Group Transfer Price Policy.Leverage IT solutions to enhance process efficiency.KPIsSales and Production AccuracyOn-Time DeliveryDays of Inventory OutstandingJob RequirementEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.Proven experience using SAP or equivalent ERP systems in previous roles.International exposure or experience living overseas is considered an advantage.Technical SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Power BI; candidates will be required to complete a skills assessment.Familiarity with supply chain analytics and reporting tools is desirable.Language & CommunicationFluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory; language proficiency will be tested.Additional languages such as Mandarin, Malay, or Bahasa are a plus.Strong communication skills with a positive approach and ability to negotiate effectively.Behavioural & Professional CompetenciesAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously.Demonstrated problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.Preferred AttributesCross-cultural awareness and ability to collaborate in diverse teams.Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to embrace digital tools.Prysmian , as an Equal Opportunity Employer, aims to attract and recruit individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and abilities.
