Job Description

THE ROLEThe Registration Development Officer is a key regulatory role responsible for carrying out a range of activities relating to disability worker registration in accordance with the Disability Service Safeguards Act 2018. These include assessing applications for registration, monitoring workflows, resolving or escalating complex enquiries and applications, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of the Register of Disability Workers.The Registration Development Officer assists the Manager and the Senior Registration Development Officer to develop and continuously improve registration processes and procedures. This includes collating and analysing data to identify trends and inform policy development to support effective, efficient administration of the scheme.The Registration Development Officer also participates in external stakeholder engagement activities to build capacity, educate the sector and promote the benefits of registration.Accountabilities IncludeUndertake accurate and timely assessments and process applications and other documents for registration of disability workers in accordance with the Act, policies and procedures and standards approved by the Board.Manage requirements for assessments and record stakeholder contact in the Commission's case management system and other electronic records, document management systems and registers.Communicate with applicants and registered disability workers in relation to their applications and registration, including responding to more complex telephone or written enquiries.How To ApplyPlease open the position description to read more.Applicants are encouraged to apply online.
