We strive to be a leading firm in people and business management, leveraging technology to support a sustainable global economy.Department: Wealth Management Reports To: Head, Wealth Management Level: Mid–Senior LevelAbout The RoleWe are seeking experienced and client-focused Relationship Managers to join our Wealth Management team at Coronation Asset Management (Coronation AM). The successful candidates will play a critical role in managing and expanding relationships with High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs), institutional clients, and corporate investors.You will be responsible for providing tailored investment advice, driving portfolio growth, and delivering superior client service consistent with Coronation’s commitment to excellence and integrity.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship ManagementBuild, nurture, and manage relationships with existing and prospective HNIs, UHNWIs, corporates, and institutional clients.Serve as a trusted financial advisor, providing personalized investment and wealth management solutions.Conduct regular portfolio reviews and ensure that investment strategies align with clients’ financial goals and risk appetites.Provide timely market insights, product updates, and performance reports to clients.Business DevelopmentIdentify new business opportunities and drive client acquisition to grow assets under management (AUM).Collaborate with product and research teams to design and recommend suitable investment products.Participate in marketing events, investment forums, and networking opportunities to strengthen brand visibility.Investment Advisory & Portfolio OversightUnderstand and communicate Coronation AM’s range of products—mutual funds, fixed income, equities, structured products, and alternative investments.Support clients in making informed investment decisions based on robust market analysis and risk assessment.Work closely with portfolio managers to ensure portfolio alignment with market dynamics and client objectives.Compliance & ReportingAdhere strictly to regulatory requirements (SEC, NGX, CIS) and internal compliance frameworks.Maintain accurate client documentation and ensure adherence to KYC/AML standards.Provide management with periodic sales, revenue, and client engagement reports.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.Relevant postgraduate degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CIS, ACIB) is an advantage.5–8 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, investment advisory, or asset management, preferably within a reputable financial institution.Proven track record of developing and managing HNI/institutional portfolios.Deep understanding of financial markets, investment instruments, and portfolio management principles.Skills & CompetenciesExcellent relationship-building and client-engagement skills.Strong financial analysis, advisory, and presentation abilities.Goal-oriented mindset with proven business-development experience.High ethical standards and sound judgment in investment advisory.Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and financial analysis tools.Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
