As part of a culture where every voice matters, your writing will play a central role in shaping the future of equitable housing investment.Learn more about our mission in our TED Talk or visit us at www.parityhomes.comKey ResponsibilitiesResearch & Opportunity IdentificationConduct research to identify grant opportunities aligned with Parity Homes' mission and programs.Stay informed on trends, best practices, and strategies in the grant-funding landscape.Proposal DevelopmentCollaborate with organizational leaders and program staff to understand funding needs and strategic priorities.Draft, edit, and prepare grant proposals, letters of intent, and supporting documents.Ensure all submissions meet funder guidelines, requirements, and deadlines.Submission & Follow-upManage the full grant submission process to ensure accurate and timely delivery.Maintain organized records of grant activities, submissions, and communications.Follow up with funders to track proposal progress and requests.Grant Management & ReportingAssist with administration of awarded grants, ensuring compliance with terms and reporting requirements.Collaborate with finance and program teams to prepare financial statements and impact updates.Relationship BuildingCultivate and maintain relationships with funders, partners, and potential donors.Represent Parity Homes in meetings and communications with funding agencies.Additional ResponsibilitiesSupport strategic planning to align grant-seeking efforts with organizational goals.Provide training and guidance to staff on grant-writing best practices.Perform other duties as needed to advance the mission.QualificationsBachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field.Proven experience as a grant writer with a successful track record.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Strong research, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities.High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with grant databases, submission portals, and digital research tools.Understanding of the nonprofit sector and funding ecosystem.Preferred AttributesExperience with grant administration and compliance reporting.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Working ConditionsFully remote position with flexible hours.Reliable internet connection and suitable home office required.Performance ExpectationsResearch at least 5 grant opportunities per week.Prepare and submit 10 high-quality grant proposals per month.Complete timely and accurate reporting for all active grants.Join UsIf you are a strategic thinker with a love for storytelling, strong attention to detail, and a passion for expanding equitable housing solutions, we encourage you to apply.
