Join a leading Independent Power Producer (IPP) in Greece focused on developing and operating power plants across Solar, Wind, and Biomass projects.We are seeking an experienced RES Development Engineer to manage the full project cycle, from Green Field concept through to Ready-to-Build status!As a RES Development Engineer, your responsibilities will include:Lead Project Initiation and Acquisition, prospecting for new solar/wind projects, including site identification, securing land rights, and pursuing greenfield M&A opportunities.Manage the complete licensing process, ensuring compliance with Greek environmental policyConduct Feasibility and Design, analyzing and designing innovative RES projects, performing site assessments and feasibility studies, and developing technical specifications.Design system layouts and estimate performance using specialized computing and design tools (such as CAD, PV Case/PV Design, and GIS software).Estimate costs, budgets, analyze Return on Investment (ROI), and identify financing tools for innovative projects.Monitor tasks, identify project risks, and provide comprehensive reporting to management.Collaborate with internal and external teams (licensing, procurement, construction, O&M) to promote development and monitor relevant legislation.Required qualifications for the RES Development Engineer role:A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in developing Renewable Energy Projects (Solar)A Bachelor Degree in EngineeringExcellent command of both the Greek and English languages.Good knowledge of specialized software including CAD (AutoCAD), PV Case or PV Design, GIS software, and energy simulation tools.Ability to analyze, organize, manage multiple projects in parallel, and demonstrate tenacity and persuasiveness.Driver’s license is requiredWhat the company offers :Competitive salaryOpportunities for development in a dynamic and growing international groupRewarding and motivating working conditionsFor any information about the position call +30 6940420299 and you can ask for Stefanidou Sofia or send me an email at sstefanidou@randstad. grPlease note that for transparency and equity reasons, only those applications made online via our site will be assessed.
