Research Assistant (up to 2-year contract), College of Integrative Studies

ResponsibilitiesBuilding and maintaining a database of contacts.(Snowball) sampling.Conducting qualitative research amongst public and private sector professionals involved in in the AI and climate change-related projects in Singapore.Transcribing interview data.Assisting the PI and RF with the administrative management of the project.Other ad hoc tasks that will contribute to the success of the project.QualificationsBachelor's degree in a social science discipline, ideally with a focus on/major in urban studies or a related field.Have some experience conducting qualitative research in Singapore.Be organised, detail-oriented and motivated to learn.A demonstrated interest in issues related to urban AI, smart cities, platform urbanism, climate change, urban development, urban infrastructure, (Southeast/South) Asia.Language skills in Thai/Bahasa Indonesia/Kannada/Hindi (useful, but not a pre-requisite).
