We empower international organizations, NGOs and the corporate sector operating in or seeking to engage with China to navigate the critical issues they face and generate a social impact. Our Beijing office is seeking one intern to join our team onsite or remotely in September 2023 for a period of a minimum of four months who will be involved in the following activities:Research and writing of client-facing policy/issue briefs, communications materials, and social media reportsSupport in project management (drafting meeting minutes, updating work plans and reports, etc.)Management and content creation for Bridge’s owned channels, including the official website and social networks (Twitter and LinkedIn)Internal research and communications in areas such as pandemic preparedness, the development and manufacturing of new drugs, vaccines, and diagnosticsSupport for meetings, presentations and eventsSupport in the coordination and management of relations with Bridge’s business contacts (clients, partners, suppliers, and international colleagues) Competencies:Native or near-native English speakers with an interest in global health and China’s role as a development partnerExcellent writers, researchers and critical thinkersUnderstanding of economic, social, political and cultural context in ChinaExperience in a cross-cultural working environmentMicrosoft Office proficiencyIntermediate data analysis and visualization skillsChinese language ability is a plusAbility to work onsite at the Beijing office is preferred To apply for the internship starting September 2023, please send your resume, cover letter and an English writing sample such as a term paper, opinion article, issue brief, or research report to the email address below by 18 September 2023.
