Our 16,000 colleagues – across our global network of bakeries, distribution sites and offices – each with their own unique, diverse experience of happiness, come together with one shared purpose: to bring happiness with every bite, we say: “Winning feels good, winning together feels better!”pladis is looking for Research & Development Specialist for our pladis Türkiye Topkapı Factory.What will be your key deliverables?Researching formulations of new and existing products based on chocolate and cocoa beans; developing economical, profitable, healthy, safe, and delicious products,Developing products aligned with targeted financial performance, selecting the right raw materials with appropriate price, quality, and safety criteria,Controlling group specifications for chocolate and cocoa production processes and continuously researching best practices,Identifying market needs and consumer demands specific to the chocolate sector and conducting new product development research,Managing R&D project processes; performing project planning, coordination, and reporting activities,Ensuring products comply with relevant regulations and global standards,Defining and implementing process and raw material standards for new products,Working to optimize production costs and product quality,Following and analyzing innovations and technological developments in the chocolate and cocoa sector and supporting R&D activities.Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, supply chain, quality and productionPreferably experienced in sensory evaluation techniques and managing internal or external tasting panels. What do you need for this role? Graduate from Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related engineering departments,Minimum 3-5 years of R&D experience in chocolate and cocoa bean processing, product development, or similar fields,Deep knowledge of chocolate production technologies and raw materials,Proficient in verbal and written English communication,Proficient in MS Office programs; knowledge of SAP is a plus,Able to analyze market and customer needs and develop strategic solutions,Business-oriented with strong ownership and initiative skills,Able to translate consumer insights and market research into short- and long-term strategies,Experienced in project management, capable of completing projects on time and within quality standards,Possesses strong communication and teamwork skills.Our values We bring happiness with every bite.
