Tips: Provide a summary of the role, what success in the position looks like, and how this role fits into the organization overall.ResponsibilitiesRole DescriptionReservation Management:Receive and respond to reservation inquiries via phone, email, or online platforms promptly and professionally.Assist guests in selecting suitable accommodations based on their preferences, budget, and availability.Enter reservation details accurately into the property management system, ensuring all necessary information is captured.Process reservation modifications, cancellations, and re-bookings promptly and according to established policies and procedures.Customer Service:Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a courteous and timely manner.Offer personalized recommendations and information about the property's amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance guests' experiences.Handle guest complaints or issues effectively, finding appropriate solutions to ensure guest satisfaction and retention.Communication and Coordination:Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping, front desk, and sales, to communicate reservation details, special requests, and guest preferences.Coordinate with travel agents, corporate clients, and group bookings to ensure accurate reservations, room blocks, and contract compliance.Maintain clear and organized records of reservations, guest preferences, and communication history for future reference.Revenue Maximization:Utilize upselling and cross-selling techniques to promote additional services, room upgrades, and amenities during the reservation process.Administrative Tasks:Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to reservations, occupancy rates, and revenue performance.Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to make informed recommendations and decisions.QualificationsBachelor degree , hospitality management or a related field is a plus.Proven experience in a reservation or customer service role within the hospitality industry is a plus.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic (additional languages may be advantageous).Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in property management systems and reservation software.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate data entry and record-keeping.Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work well under pressure while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.Knowledge of local attractions, events, and transportation options to assist guests effectively.Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve guest concerns or complaints with tact and diplomacy.
