🌍 Responsible Sourcing Specialist – South Asia Location: South Asia (covering Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India, Jordan & Pakistan)Travel Requirement: Frequent travel within the regionExperience: 5–8 years in social compliance within the apparel industryAbout the RoleWe are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Responsible Sourcing Specialist to lead operational functions of Responsible Sourcing programs across South Asia. This role plays a critical part in ensuring ethical, sustainable, and socially compliant sourcing practices within supply chain.You’ll be the regional expert driving compliance excellence through factory assessments, data analysis, corrective action follow-ups, and stakeholder collaboration with vendors, auditors, and cross-functional teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day inspection and audit processes, including scheduling, factory scoring, ranking, and post-inspection remediationConduct regular social assessments across factories in the regionReview completed audit reports for accuracy, timeliness, and proper scoringAnalyze audit data to identify training needs, high-risk vendors, and improvement areasDevelop and communicate Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and monitor follow-upsInvestigate audit findings and respond to internal/external queries related to Responsible Sourcing initiativesEnhance reporting protocols and performance dashboards to support compliance visibility for senior leadershipPerform risk analyses on social compliance and sourcing-related issuesAct as the key liaison for multi-stakeholder initiatives such as Better Work, Brand Forums, and RISE training programsLead remediation for International Accord safety inspections (structural, fire, electrical) with factoriesSupport additional projects and initiatives as assignedQualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Social Sciences, Sustainability, Supply Chain, Business, or related field)5–8 years’ experience in social compliance, preferably in the apparel or textile industryStrong English communication skills (verbal and written)Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and planning abilitiesProven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional and multicultural teamsStrong relationship management skills with vendors and suppliersHighly self-motivated with strong attention to detail, deadlines, and data accuracyWillingness and ability to travel frequently across South Asia👉 Apply Now - sadhini.bhagya@quesslanka.com
