Retail Area Manager

About the RoleWe are looking for an Area Manager to oversee our Japanese partner brands under World Mode Malaysia. Currently, we manage 8 brands – including 1 footwear, 1 lifestyle, and the rest in fashion, all based in LaLaport.You’ll work closely with 7 Store Managers, ensuring smooth operations, strong sales performance, and consistent brand representation across all stores. This is a full-time role with a 1-year renewable contract. All benefits such as insurance and annual leave are provided upon confirmation, with a 3-month probation period.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operations and ensure smooth performance across all assigned stores.Lead, support, and develop Store Managers to achieve sales and service goals.Monitor sales performance, analyze results, and implement action plans to drive improvement.Ensure stores maintain high brand standards in merchandising, customer experience, and visual presentation.Prepare and present regular performance reports to management.Undertake special assignments or ad hoc responsibilities as directed by management.RequirementsDiploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field.Minimum 3–5 years of retail management or multi-store supervision experience (fashion or lifestyle industry preferred).Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on management approach.Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.Able to work flexible hours, including weekends when required.If you’re passionate about retail and excited to manage premium Japanese brands, we’d love to hear from you!
